Inaugural Indivisible Benton County Community Celebration 2025

Thank you to all who joined us for the Inaugural Indivisible Benton County Community Celebration. We had hot tea, cocoa, and cider, along with tasty snacks. A slideshow displayed photos from events of the past year. Attendees could learn about Threads of Resistance, the Corvallis Justice Quilt; create bracelets with PIRC’s hotline number; or purchase a hand-knit frog hat to benefit Good Trouble Corvallis Food Security, who raised $200 at the celebration.

Congratulations to Jeanne Holmes, first-place winner of the goofy hat contest, and runner-up Ralph.

Thanks to Sue Rickey and the Events Committee for organizing the celebration, to Claire Montgomery for putting together the slide show, and to Richard Behan for the photos.

🐸 🎩 If you didn’t pick up a frog hat before they ran out at the celebration, they are available for a suggested donation of $20 (or more) at 2 stores in downtown Corvallis: Lady Luck & TSA Vintage.

We’ll be taking a break from the Indivisible Benton County newsletter and returning in 2026, refreshed and ready to resist the regime.
