Our Get Out The Vote effort starts with welcoming new residents and encouraging them to register to vote or update their mailing address. This effort is key to getting out the vote in November. Join us by emailing voter@indivisiblebc.org. If you would like a canvassing partner to walk with you, tell us that in your email, and we will provide matchmaking services. There are nearly two dozen volunteers already. Join the fun and do something meaningful to push back!

Write postcards providing folks who aren’t registered to vote with information about how to register, or encouraging people in key districts and states to vote. We have regular meetings to write postcards. See upcoming postcard-writing meetings in our Calendar, as well as our weekly newsletter.

Or, organize your own postcard writing through organizations like Blue Wave, Postcards to Voters, & Field Team 6.

Help people register to vote or change their voting address, and provide information about voting, at the Indivisible Benton County table at the events like OSU’s Beaver Community Fair and No Kings: Vote Early. Having one-on-one conversations is still one of the most effective methods of engaging people who care about the fate of our country’s democracy and providing them with up-to-date information on when, where, and how to cast their ballots. You will be provided with training, as well as talking points to support a candidate in a race Indivisible National is targeting. Indivisible Benton County is now using the Signal app to send special mobilization announcements during and after the midterm elections. Download the free Signal app from your device’s App Store or from signal.org, and follow the prompts. Once you have a Signal account, use this link to join our Announcements chat, so you hear about special events and receive key information in real time!
