Thank you to all the volunteers and the attendees in person or in spirit to the No Kings II events on October 18th! It was the single largest mass mobilization this country has ever seen. Over 7 million people gathered in over 2700 events. We all gathered to denounce this would-be king and his authoritarian regime. We all proudly declared that America has no King.

We will not tolerate the current president’s claim the right to fire anyone he pleases, to spend federal money without congressional appropriations, to launch lethal strikes on foreign civilians without authorization from Congress or evidence of imminent threat, and to send masked men into people’s homes to kidnap them in the dead of night. He’s using the power of his position to wage a war on his political opposition, he’s shuttering freedom of the press at the Pentagon, he’s harnessing the power of the IRS to target liberal donors, and more.

We must continue the parade of the people and dance of defiance in our daily lives. We must continue to build our community and grow our coalition. Keep sharing with others! Join a group!
