About No Kings
NO KINGS is a peaceful national day of action and mass mobilization in response to the increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption of the Trump administration, which they have doubled down on since June. They are targeting immigrant families, profiling, arresting and detaining people without warrants; threatening to overtake elections; gutting health
care, environmental protections, and education when families need them most; rigging maps to
silence voters; ignoring mass shootings at our schools and in our communities; and driving up
the cost of living while handing out massive giveaways to billionaire allies, as families struggle.
We’re standing together against the abuses of power, cruelty, and corruption. On October 18th
2025, we gather to remind President Trump and his enablers: America has No Kings!
The NO KINGS Corvallis in June was an amazing show of community. We had a spectacular slate of musicians and speakers, a somber Graveyard of Democracy, and community building interactive art. With autocracy and fascism on the rise, we will be changing our tactics. We will begin the rally with a march called “Parade of the People” at 12 pm. The start of the march will be the steps of the Benton County Courthouse and the tentative route will be to head east on Monroe Avenue to 1st Street. The march will return via Madison Avenue and turn on 4th Street to arrive back to the courthouse. We will then continue the rally with a “Dance of Defiance”
until 3pm.
These events require a lot of organization and planning. We appreciate the collaboration of our community members and groups. The priority at this time is to recruit volunteers for our safety plan. We are hoping to have approximately 20-25 safety volunteers for the march route and the crosswalks. Please direct any potential volunteers to email us or to sign up on mobilize.
We need help from our community to make this the biggest rally to date. Science tells us that nonviolent protests of 3.5% of the population have
never failed to bring about change. We must all stand against this fascist
regime and when we win, we will demand a more democratic government.
We need help from everyone to spread the word and have them bring
their family and friends. We need people to bring their signs, voices, and
