Take Action against spam PACs

Spam PACs are deliberately predating on the elderly and other vulnerable individuals. (reported by Adam Bonica on Substack)

Spam PACs aren’t just shady operators—they’re using the same predatory tactics as financial scammers, deliberately targeting seniors. Even worse, Democratic campaign committees like the DCCC and DSCC have embraced these methods, signaling that deceiving elderly supporters is acceptable. This betrayal erodes trust, drives donors away, and undermines the grassroots movement our politics depends on. The fix is clear: party leaders like Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, and Ken Martin must step up now. They should publicly support ActBlue’s new ban on deceptive fundraising, empower enforcement, and blocklist vendors who prey on vulnerable donors. Activists can help by raising awareness, demanding statements from party leaders, and organizing pressure campaigns to hold them accountable. Every day of silence tells seniors their trust and savings are expendable. It’s on us to demand better—for our supporters, our movement, and our democracy. Share this information and get involved.
