NEW: Food Box Program to Support The Latino Community

Recent social and economic changes have increased food scarcity for the most vulnerable Latino/x/e communities of Linn and Benton county. The fear of going to work or even shopping at a grocery store has made it challenging for the community to meet their basic necessities.

Indivisible Benton County will be partnering with Casa Latinos Unidos in their Food Box Program designed to alleviate food insecurity  and barriers for the Latino community.

The most pressing need right now is money donations to buy food times. Boxing was postpone due to lack of funds. The organization expects to be ready to start preparing the boxes for distribution on  September 10th
