| Ready to hit the streets again? Be a part of the next mass mobilization on July 17th with Good Trouble Lives On.
Good Trouble Lives On is a national day of nonviolent action to respond to the attacks posed on our civil and human rights by the Trump administration and to remind them that in America, the power lies with the people. On July 17th, the anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’s passing, we’re taking action across the country to defend our democracy and carry forward his legacy of Good Trouble. Join an informational call on June 25th, July 3rd, or July 10th.
| No Kings is a coalition of organizations who came together to organize the five million strong No Kings Day. All of these organizations are leading incredible work pushing back on the Trump administration’s march toward authoritarianism. Here are some ways in which you can plug into that work right now: |
- Indivisible’s Stop the Cuts Action Page: Congress is threatening to gut funding for essential programs like Medicaid, SNAP, education, and climate. Use Indivisible’s tools to demand your Member of Congress stop the cuts.
- Stand up America’s No Contempt Clause Letter Writing: Tell your Members of Congress to reject dangerous legislation that would shield officials from accountability. This bill strips Congress of its power to enforce subpoenas — take action to defend checks and balances.
- Common Cause’s The People’s Promise: Write a letter to the editor, join a phonebank, or share your story to support a People’s Promise that fights for all of us. Multiple ways to engage each week — pick the tactic that works for you and build momentum together.
- Public Citizen’s Disappeared in America: Host or attend an action on June 26 to highlight the human cost of immigration raids and disappearances. Lift up local stories and demand humane immigration policies through powerful, decentralized events.
- Medicaid: Stop the Cuts Phonebanks: Join us for a national phone bank to Medicaid recipients to urge them to call their Senators ahead of the upcoming budget vote that would take away trillions of dollars of support and assistance from everyday people.

| Every individual action we take, from going to a rally to calling our representatives, makes a difference. But the biggest impact we can make is through building the capacity to keep this movement strong for the long term by growing the movement. Now is the time to find yourself an organizing home (or multiple homes).
If No Kings Day proved anything, it’s that we are stronger together. Join these incredible movements as they continue to build toward a brighter future. |
- One Million Rising: One Million Rising is a national effort to train one million people to help lead in this moment and gain the skills to lead others. This is how we build people power that can’t be ignored. You’re invited to join us — and lead.
- League of Conservation Voters — Connect With State Affiliates: Tap into the League of Conservation Voters’ network of 32 state affiliates to take action on climate justice and democracy protection. Whether you want to register voters, volunteer, or get more involved locally, this is your entry point.
- ACLU — Popular Education Training Series: Join a virtual training series focused on relational organizing, storytelling, and shifting public opinion through popular education. This is a great entry point for organizers who want to build skills and grow their local base.
- Indivisible — Find Your Local Indivisible Group: Whether you’re new to activism or a seasoned leader, there’s a place for you in this people-powered movement.

Indivisible’s Call to Action regarding Trump’s bombing of Iran:
|
| Trump has bombed Iran. Against the will of the American people, without a vote from Congress, and without any plan to protect American lives or deescalate the crisis, Trump unilaterally launched a military strike that could ignite a full-scale regional war.
But we have the power to stop this. The Constitution is clear: Only Congress can declare war. That’s not a technicality – it’s a safeguard meant to keep exactly this kind of unilateral warmongering in check.
Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) has introduced a War Powers Resolution in the Senate to rein in Trump’s illegal military action and block further escalation. AND Representatives Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Thomas Massie (R-KY) have introduced a bipartisan War Powers Resolution in the House to block unauthorized U.S. military involvement in Iran. It would force an up-or-down vote and send a powerful, pro-peace message that Trump does not have a blank check for war.

You can also phone or email their offices directly. Just Google them to find their official websites to get phone numbers and email links.
Check out their Facebook pages for their statements on Trump’s actions. All of them have posted statements opposing Trump’s unilateral action on their Facebook pages and other social media, except Cliff Bentz (OR-2), who is, of course, entirely in favor of everything Trump does.
And here’s an excellent essay about how Trump’s failures with Iran during his first term have led to this moment – Trump’s first term lies at the heart of escalation between Iran and Israel. The Conversation (6-20-25) |
